The Pro Assist Package option includes: LED headlights, adaptive front lighting system, Intelligent Cruise Control, Distance Control Assist, and Lane Departure Intervention. Other safety features include: Forward-collision warning, front and rear automated emergency braking, lane departure warning, and blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert. The highlight is the optional ProPilot Assist feature, which is Infiniti’s semi-autonomous driving mode and will handle steering for you and keep you in your lane. Safety is another strong point on the Infiniti lineup, including the QX55.

Other technology in the QX55 includes: Rain-sensing front windshield wipers, remote start, navigation with MapCare and premium traffic, Bose 16-speaker performance series audio, Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration, and a Wi-Fi hotspot. There’s also a handy button for changing camera angles around the car, which helps in parking situations. The simple design of the tech setup stands out in a good way, compared with some rivals’ overly complicated tech setups. Both touch and voice commands are quite easy to learn. It features maps on top and audio and other controls below. TECHNOLOGY, SAFETYĪ clean, two-screen setup (the Infiniti InTouch Dual HD display) on the infotainment system works very well. And it comes with a Hill Start Assist feature.

My only complaint is that the engine is a bit louder than I would have liked at idle. It handles great, turns like a charm, and braking is instant.
